摘 要:The effect of RE additive on the brightness of the chromium deposit, the dispersivity of the plating solution, the deposition speed and the current efficien-cy in chromium plating at 20 and 50℃ respectivelywere studied systematically. The experiments results show that at 50℃ the rare earth additive increases all the above properties, while at 20℃, it only increases the current efficiency and the deposition speed. The most effective rare earths oxides are Pr6O11 and CeO2。
