杜笙樹脂于藥品的應(yīng)用大致可以分為以下４大類別 :
The use in pharmaceutical formulations can be classified under one of the following four categories

<味道包覆劑>– 一 些藥物含有苦味 ,可用杜笙交換樹脂來吸收此苦味而相對比較沒苦味。人的口中及胃的酸堿值 (pH)大約是在相同的范圍 ,因此藥品不會在口中溶解而只在 胃里溶解。因此,當(dāng)藥經(jīng)過口中時 ,藥品的結(jié)構(gòu)仍處于錯化物，沒有任何的味道被釋出。不同的樹脂選擇來包含苦味,取決于藥品特性 (請連絡(luò)我們以取得更詳 細(xì)資料)。
– Certain drugs that have a very bitter taste can be made relatively tastele  y adsorbing the drugs on Tulsion Exchange Resins . The pH in the mouth being on the basic side compared to the pH in the stomach , the complex drug will not be released in the mouth but only in the stomach. Since while passing through the mouth the drug remains in the complex form , none or very little taste is imparted. The nature of resin used is dependent upon the type of drug being masked (please contact us for more details).

– In order to ensure that once a tablet is ingested , the desired drug is delivered . It is desirable that the tablet disintegrates uniformly and quickly. External agents are added to a tablet formulation to ensure the disintegration. TULSION® resins ca be used as a disintegrating agent. This is due to the fact that the resin will swell than the resin in hydrogen form , Potassium form of the resin “Polacrilin Potassium” is preferred in this applications.


<藥效持續(xù)釋放>- 緩釋劑是要確保藥物不斷的 ,慢慢的，但穩(wěn)定的速度被釋放到身體。藥劑從離子交換樹脂釋放是取決于身體內(nèi)不同液體與藥品及樹脂錯化物之間的反應(yīng)來決定。對 藥物的釋放速度可通過改變控 制粒子的大小，樹脂交聯(lián)的程度及樹脂的化學(xué)性質(zhì)。此種持續(xù)性的釋放藥效配方是可以依照不同的應(yīng)用而量身訂作的。
– Sustained release formulations ensure that the drug is released continuously into the body at a slower , but steady rate. The release of durgs from ion exchange resins depends upon a series of ionic reactio  etween various body fluids and drug – resin complex . The rate of release of drugs can be controlled by varying the particle size , degree of cross-linking and the chemistry of resin. The release profile can almost be tailor made to suit a particular application.

<藥效穩(wěn)定藥物>- 例如藥物，維生素B – 12的存儲時，經(jīng)過一段時間會慢慢分解。此類藥物的穩(wěn)定可藉由使用TULSION®樹脂來達(dá)成。
– Drugs for instance, Vitamin B-12 when stored , degenerate after some time. The stabilization of such drugs can be brought about using Tulsion resins.
